Being enrolled in an FCS class provides students the opportunity to explore and prepare for careers, engage in entrepreneurial activities and work-based learning, earn industry certifications which show mastery of technical skills, engage in hands-on contextual learning, acquire valuable and essential leadership and like skills, and demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate, communicate, think critically and creatively problem-solve real-world issues.
